Intensive Weekend Program
The Adult Chamber Music Intensive Weekend at Boston University's School of Music offers a vibrant experience for classical music lovers. Over the weekend of each session, participants will be engaged in four coaching sessions, each led by faculties and doctoral students from Boston University’s School of Music. Our Intensive session also features a masterclass with distinguished guest artists such as members of the BSO, senior faculties from Boston University, allowing our participants to learn and experience different music insights. Our open sight-reading events create a space for spontaneous collaboration and musical exploration. As an individual or pre-formed group participant, our program provides an opportunity to form a group with the graduate student from Boston University School of Music. You will be meeting new peers, forming a chamber music group and also long-lasting friendship through music. The weekend culminates in a performance and reception, where everyone—whether you're playing or just listening—can come celebrate together through chamber music.

registration of sessions: To ensure everyone can have the best learning experience, individual participants should enroll in at least four consecutive sessions (for example, sessions 1-4 or 5-8). This allows for a continuous and comprehensive learning process, helping participants to build upon previously acquired knowledge and skills. Pre-formed groups, however, can be more flexible and enroll in a minimum of two consecutive sessions (for example, sessions 1-2 or 3-4). This flexibility accommodates the varying schedules and needs of group participants while still ensuring a cohesive learning experience.
